The Change

Autumn is quite possibly my favourite time of year, I can't go through this season without searching for and capturing the colour display as the leaves turn. I left my home early on this day, and it wasn't long before I realised we were in for a really misty start to the day. I didn't know this exact location, I kind of stumbled into it. As I parked the car close by, I was pretty taken with the scenes I was witnessing, thick fog at sunrise and the camera was out, but I couldn't find a shot. I wandered up stream and viewed these Poplars from a distance, through the mist. Once I arrived I couldn't believe what I had stumbled into, the autumn colour, the Bredbo River, it was all to good to be true.
I spent the next two hours waiting and composing my photograph, what an experience.
