There is something very special about this island, it has a feel to it, a wild nature that I haven't experienced anywhere else. Some how, to me it feels familiar, kind of like a second home, kind of like an old friend, I don't really know how to explain it. I have had some tough experiences here, but I have also seen some of the most amazing sights and felt some of the most solitude, truly away from the world.
I have been holding onto these photographs, I haven't been ready to release them. I feared for some time that they may be my last really serious effort behind the lens, to some degree at this point in time that is true. I captured these photographs on what has turned out to be my last really serious photography trip, and it was over two years ago, but there is more to come, in time.
Enjoy these new releases.
