I had an idea that I wanted to try here at Bell Gorge, as I thought the late afternoon light, would allow for long exposure photography without a lot of shadows. I hiked in here on our last evening and carefully climbed around to this vantage point. I set up in the hope of some colour but that really didn't happen, so I prepared for a long exposure, to blend the light in the scene together.
I soon realised, as I hadn't yet taken a photo, that I had left my phone back at camp, meaning I had no way of timing my exposure. On this occasion, it was a minute and a half long, so I had to guess. I stood here counting away, hoping that I had fallen within the time limits.
