Some locations stay in the back of my mind, until one day, I finally get an opportunity to photograph them. Being at Wallace Hut for me is not unusual, but normally it doesn't have snow around it. My friend and I left the car near the locked gate at Falls Creek early on this day with a long walk ahead of us. We put our packs and snow shoes on in windy, cloudy conditions with expectations of the next couple of days. It is possible to follow a road most of the way to Wallace Hut but it is just on a nine kilometer walk, one way, so it takes some commitment. The plan was to arrive after lunch, photograph the area and camp out over night, with a walk out the next day, back to the car.
During our walk the winds crept up, blowing over us with some aggression, just another case of head down and keep walking. We arrived early afternoon to the protection offered by the surroundings here and were just in awe of this place. It is special any time of the year but with snow, it is the ultimate alpine location. |

Printing
Our photographs are printed on arguably the world's highest quality printing media, Fujiflex Crystal Archive. This material is a silver halide based polyester and remains as one of the last remaining true photographic printing processes. The quality of the completed finish is outstanding, with amazing colour and sharpness. All prints are supplied with a black border to allow for framing and matte boards.
Packaging
All of our printed photographs are hand signed and rolled and sealed on a protective tube. They will stay safe and dry and can be shipped anywhere in the world

We don't supply framed prints though we do recommend using the best materials available to frame your new piece. Each photograph is supplied with instructional framing advice that will contribute to getting the most from your new photograph for many years to come.
