This is simply an amazing location within Victoria, Australia. Fed from the pure waters of Alpine National Park, Toorongo River in Victoria's East Gippsland region is a sight to behold. I was overwhelmed by the diversity in this region, from the thickest rainforest I had seen for many years to rolling hills for grazing, I felt as though I was in another land or time. The Toorongo river is teaming with wild Trout, behind me the river slows to a deep pool which I would not have been able to walk through with my waders on as the water would have been up to my shoulders.
I love the look, feel and smell of this region. It is wild, damp, rich with character and filled with potential photographs.
