This afternoon I had watched these thick whispy clouds roll onto the coast from the west. I thought for a while that it might be a bleak sunset with no colour. As I ventured to this location I noticed that on the western horizon the clouds were beginning to break up. I managed to clamber down the rocks to gain entry to this location and with rough seas and high winds I waited, trying not to get too covered in sea spray in the meantime.
As the sun started to set the last clouds were being pushed out towards the ocean by the prevailing winds. It made for a perfect set up with the reflecting light hitting the cloud bank and making for this wild light.
