I had ventured here for a number of days, in the afternoon and the morning to try and feel the location but to also capture it in different kinds of light. Sometimes it is important for me to move away from chasing powerful sunrises or sunsets, the ability to chase a different mood is important.
It was stormy and the dawn light just could not quite get through. I wondered if it would happen or not. In the mean time I switched my view to portrait and honed in on the weathered rock formation. A longer exposure in low light shows the fast movement through the clouds and blurs the movement in the water to create an image that is far removed from what our eyes can see.
