I had been fishing further around the beach in very overcast weather for a couple of hours. Suddenly the clouds broke up so I quickly ran to the car to get my camera and ran back down to this location. This area is expansive, the headlands just seem to go on forever, and around every corner it seems like there is another photographic opportunity.
The dark clouds in the distance cleared off for the entire afternoon, until around dusk. This was a usual weather pattern for the days that I spent in this amazing area. In the number of times that I did visit this location, I never saw another person. This is not a particularly remote location, the main road is only about five kilometers away.
