Jansz Beach, Ningaloo Reef, Exmouth, Western Australia
'Ningaloo' | Unique ID - PKP192
I was lucky to have my eldest daughter with me when I was taking this photograph. We both got up before dawn and ventured to one of our more favoured locations of this beautiful area. Exmouth became the turn around point of Western Horizon, so to speak, we were at our most northerly point.
I was standing in the water looking for shells when I looked up to see a hint of light. I remember telling my daughter that it was "going to happen this morning I think" and we both waited to see this special light. Western Australia would have to be renowned for its clear water, it seems to just follow the whole coastline, Exmouth and the area surrounding is no exception.
