The Eucumbene River roars in the valley below, moving at an intense pace due to melting snow and a night of solid rain. The surrounding valley is densely populated with colourful eucalypts and heath, making this a scene that is extremely pure and rare. In the waters below the Trout are spawning, moving up stream to find a suitable place to lay and fertalise their eggs in a river where the water is so clean and unpolluted. There is immense life here, nature has been left untouched, left alone to run its natural course.
I have been looking for several years to find an area like this one, untouched from the fires with great scenery that includes the Eucumbene River. This is a place that I don't think too many people know about, potentially why it is still so beautiful.
