Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra, Australia
'Floating' | Unique ID - PKP169
Each year in Autumn, Canberra's skies come alive with the colour of majestic hot air balloons. As part of the yearly Canberra Festival, this is one of the main events and attracts people from around the world. On this perfectly clear day, I think I was just as happy as the passengers within the balloons floating above Lake Burley Griffin. The balloons seemed to be moving ever so slowly which meant that I could capture them with the brilliant reflections on the lake.
I have been up in an air balloon over Canberra, once when I was much younger, and it is the best way to see Australia's Capital.
