I am always surprised by the potential of a location re-visit. This is one example of a place that I know well, I visit this stretch of creek in the Winter months most years. But never before had I captured a portrait photograph of this little set up. In fact this was the first time I even considered it.
There used to be really good snow gums here, lining the banks of the stream, my focus was always on them. I would use them to add my main point of interest, the stream was generally the supporting act. But during recent years, something has happened to the trees that I would normally focus on, they have started to die unfortunately. I have been forced to look at other things.
