The reflection of light off the ground cover of snow illuminated the limbs of this old snow gum. I spied this from a distance and could not resist the composition. I lined the sun up behind one of the large limbs and waited for the wind to stop. Roughly ten minutes and two photographs later the sun had moved and the light changed.
